You can mix different colors and create your own design. To make this project easy and simple, use acrylic paint which dries quickly. This is a great craft for your Thanksgiving table. You can make a turkey out of paper or use construction paper for a more authentic look.
To make the turkey, you need to cut out two circles from your construction paper and fold them in half. Then, you need to cut out two triangles from the folded circle and glue them onto the top of each other. Once done, you will have one large triangle with two smaller triangles attached to it.
Next, take another piece of paper and fold it in half so that you have an egg shape. Then, take some painter’s tape and wrap it around the outside of this egg so that it looks like the beak of a bird. The next step is to find some feathers (e.g., cotton balls or yarn). Place them around the top part of your turkey until it looks like feathers are sticking out from all sides of your crafting project. Lastly, if you want more realism, add some fake blood around the edges of your turkey!
Tin Can Pumpkins
These are the cutest and most fun fall decorating ideas we’ve seen. They are easy to make and use a tin can as the base. All you need is some spray paint, a few cans and some string. The spray paint gives them their signature orange color and then you add glitter ornaments attached with string to create the perfect pumpkin. If you want to be extra creative, try painting the inside of your can orange and then using glitter ornaments for the eyes! These would be fun for any season, but especially in the fall.
